The Project
On May 5th 2014 Ed Sheeran performed three shows across the UK & Ireland to promote the new album “Multiply”. To follow this one day event, we built a fully responsive, real-time website featuring three main areas:
Timeline:
Tracking the events from the day, including key social posts from Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and a live Facebook stream
The Journey:
A live customised Google Map, plotting Ed’s locations throughout the day
Tweet Map:
A realtime map visualising fans tweets from around the world throughout the day using the campaign hashtag #multiplyed
The Result
The site had 130,000 page views over the course of the day, engaging fans and creating a truly unique and social experience.
The project also won ‘Best Digital Marketing Campaign‘ at the Music Ally Digital Music Awards 2014.
